Many people learn to practice a profession. They learn to produce, to work, to communicate, to use tools, to develop skills and sometimes to lead organizations. But a fundamental question often remains little taught: How can you learn to conduct your own life?
How can you know yourself better? How can you understand what builds us and influences us? How can you develop your character? How can you govern your thoughts, your emotions, your habits and your behaviors? How can you build healthy relationships? How can you heal from what continues to influence our present? How can you choose a direction? How can you build a life project? How can you assume your responsibilities? How can you set boundaries? How can you go through trials without losing your course? How can you develop a living relationship with God that is not separated from everyday reality?
And finally: How can you become a person capable of putting who you are and what you develop at the service of a mission that goes beyond your own interest?
It is in this space that LifeMastery Academy is situated. LifeMastery does not claim to teach a life without difficulty, without error or without uncertainty. It teaches something more realistic and more demanding:
LifeMastery Academy is a training and personal transformation academy, dedicated to the integral development of the human being, self-mastery, personal responsibility, building a meaningful life and developing a lasting capacity to serve, contribute and make an impact.
Our starting point is simple: the person is at the heart of their life. Before the professional, the leader, the entrepreneur, the spouse, the parent, the person in charge or the servant, there is the person.
A person with: an identity; a story; a body; thoughts; emotions; beliefs; habits; wounds; relationships; capacities; a freedom; responsibilities; aspirations; a spiritual dimension; and a mission to discover and build.
We believe that lasting transformation does not begin only with the acquisition of new techniques. It begins with the person who will use these techniques. That is why LifeMastery does not seek only to transmit knowledge. We want to accompany a process: Understand → become aware → choose → practice → transform → integrate → transmit.
Our approach combines personal development, character formation, relational intelligence, responsibility, life practices, personal leadership and lived Christian faith. Faith is not for us a religious decoration added to personal development. It is a relationship with God lived in the reality of everyday life.
To see emerge solid, aware, responsible and deeply rooted people, capable of governing themselves, exerting a positive influence in their family, their community, their work, society, and fulfilling their mission.
We envision people who no longer live only in reaction to circumstances, wounds, habits, social pressures or others’ expectations. People who learn to: know themselves; understand what influences them; choose consciously; govern themselves; build; love with maturity; get back up; grow; serve and transmit. Our vision is therefore not simply to train people who succeed. We want to contribute to training people who know who they are, what they are building, why they are building it and in the service of what they want to put their life.
To train, equip and accompany people so that they develop self-knowledge, personal mastery, relational maturity, responsibility, resilience, a clear life direction and a living relationship with God, to build a life consistent with their values, develop their potential and contribute positively to the lives of others.
Understand your person, how you function, your story and your influences.
Develop self-mastery, responsibility, habits and the ability to choose.
Develop relationships, goals, boundaries, resilience and a life direction.
Transform your personal growth into contribution, leadership, transmission and impact.
Do not settle for accumulating knowledge. Allow what you learn to transform the way you think, choose, act and live.
Learn to govern your thoughts, emotions, habits, decisions and priorities. Self-mastery is the growing ability to take responsibility for what depends on us.
Personal transformation does not find its fulfillment in self-obsession. What you become must progressively produce something around you: in your family, your relationships, your work, your community, your projects and your generation.
The LifeMastery method is based on six movements. They are not just six institutional words. They describe the movement of transformation.
Who am I? What are my strengths, my limits, my needs, my values and my aspirations?
Why do I think, feel or act like this? What influenced me? What dynamics are at work in my life?
What will I keep? What will I let go of? What will I change? What direction will I take?
An intention that never becomes action transforms few things. LifeMastery leads toward: practice, habits, decisions, goals, behaviors and commitments.
Growing requires: time, repetition, correction, perseverance, learning, adaptation, and starting again. Transformation is not perfection.
A person grows to become capable of: serving, influencing, accompanying, leading, contributing, transmitting and leaving a legacy.
What I learn becomes what I understand. What I understand influences what I choose. What I choose becomes what I practice. What I practice progressively transforms what I become. And what I become influences what I can transmit.
A solid life is built from the inside out. We do not want only to teach the person to do more. We want to help them understand who is doing.
For a person can possess: skills without character; ambition without direction; influence without maturity; freedom without responsibility; success without peace; relationships without boundaries; knowledge without transformation; a religion without a living relationship with God.
Our philosophy is therefore based on several convictions.
The person possesses a dignity that does not depend only on their performance.
Self-knowledge precedes a more conscious self-mastery.
Freedom and responsibility must grow together.
Character matters as much as skills.
Habits progressively build a way of living.
Relationships can build or destroy.
Wounds can influence the person without having to determine their entire identity nor their entire future.
Boundaries protect freedom, dignity and responsibility.
Resilience does not consist in denying the trial, but in learning to continue to build despite it and after it.
The relationship with God crosses all areas of life.
Personal growth reaches a higher form when it becomes service and contribution.
BECOME BEFORE APPEARING. GOVERN YOURSELF BEFORE WANTING TO GOVERN. GROW TO BETTER SERVE.
Our training is based on seven institutional pillars. These seven pillars make it possible to connect the entire curriculum to a common architecture.
Identity, dignity, needs, human dimensions, self-awareness
Character, thoughts, emotions, habits, discipline, personal power
Socialization, communication, empathy, boundaries, relational maturity, influence
Wounds, self-understanding, healing, inner freedom, rebuilding
Vision, life project, objectives, decisions, responsibility, priorities
Trials, adaptation, resources, rebound, rebuilding, wisdom
Relationship with God, discernment, values, vocation, service, contribution, transmission
